A great ad does one job: get the click. What happens after the click is a different problem entirely, and most tools that help you write ads have nothing to say about it. They hand you a winner and walk away, as if the page on the other end doesn't matter.
I found out the hard way that it matters more than the ad does. Once the Council could judge an ad well, I pointed it at something closer to home: my own homepage. I gave it a screenshot of the hero section and asked the same twelve personas to react to it the way they'd react to a landing page they'd just clicked into. The feedback was rough. Rough enough that I rewrote the entire page.
That's when the tool got its second half. CouncilAds doesn't stop at picking your winning ad. It takes that winner and checks it against the landing page it's sending people to, same Council, same scrutiny, looking at whether the message that won the click is the same message waiting for them when they land.
If the ad promises one thing and the page says something else, that's not a small problem.
That's the moment someone clicks, feels confused for half a second, and leaves.
The Council catches that gap before your ad spend finds it for you.
